About Modifying the Values of Existing Coverage Categories
You can modify the percentage coverage and description fields of the existing coverage categories in the Misc. Setups window.
QDW allows you to modify the Pct. Coverage and
Description fields of the existing coverage categories.
- When you modify the Pct. Coverage, it is not updated on the existing insurance plans since this is a default value. The new value is used for all new plans, but the updated default never updates the coverage on an existing plan.
- When you modify Description, the new value is shown on
all existing plans.Note: For users of daily download who are also using the Coverage and Description for reporting, it is recommended to use the Description from the master table (dbo.Definitions).
- Deleted coverages are removed from the existing plans.
