Administrator Responsibilities
An administrator for QSIDental Web software, for a practice, has the important responsibility of managing users and security within the software on an on-going basis. The administrator is the central point of contact for employees that use the software and the person with the greatest knowledge of the behind-the-scenes functions of the software.
General Responsibilities
The role of Administrator is an important one. There are on-going responsibilities for managing the software and assisting users. The role as an Administrator will include:
- Setting up the users.
- Managing the security and access to the software.
- Communicating with users to make adjustments to the tools and options as the practice evolves.
Security Settings
One of the important responsibilities as the QSIDental Web Administrator for the practice, is managing users and security within the software. Between the administrator and the tools within the software, the practice can adhere to industry standards for privacy, security and confidentiality.
User setup and security is important because it:
- Controls who can log on to the software.
- Controls access within the system, allowing each user to perform functions required for his or her role.
- Limits access across offices.
