International Classification of Diseases (ICD) codes are diagnostic codes used by some practices to track medical diagnosis or problems. Additionally, the codes are used to communicate with some insurance companies for certain types of procedures. The current list of ICD10 Codes is available through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website.
Procedures that may require a diagnosis code need to be mapped to the ICD Diagnosis Code. To associate the codes:
There are as many different ways to view the scheduler as people that view it -daily or weekly, by provider or operatory. Some views are available by default; others are created by the administrator for each office. User views are structured by office and support the providers and operatories and are especially useful for providers who wish to have a paper version of the day’s schedule. Once created, the views will be available for selection under the User Views menu in the Scheduler. Many practices use these views for dentist-hygienist teams or specialists.
The Miscellaneous Setups window groups a number of setup tools together under a single option. Not all of these items will need to be changed from the defaults.
