To run efficiently, QSIDental recommends the following specifications for each computer accessing QSIDental Web.

You can log in to QSIDental Web from an open browser page.

The QDW application stores patient information on the Patient Overview window.

You can cancel an appointment and assign a cancellation reason code.

You can view cancelled and missed appointments on the Call Worklist window.

Tooth Chart provides a graphical representation of the patient's dentition. It also enables you to view the patient's details, appointments, insurance details, and treatment plans.

You can view the general and detailed information about incoming patient referrals.

You can view the general and detailed information about outgoing patient referrals.

You can view the notifications about referrals on the Notification tab on the Patient Referral screen.

You can a create patient referral using the Referral Overview toolbar icon.

You can accept an incoming patient referral from the same account.

You can accept an incoming referral from a different account or an external source.

You can reassign new, accepted, and in-progress referrals to a different provider or office.

You can edit all type of new referrals except incoming external referrals, on the Outgoing Referrals tab on the Patient Referral (Overview) window.

The Ledger window contains information about the claims raised for a treatment plan. The Ledger entries are color-coded based on the practice preferences.

The Claim Worklist window provides a quick way to follow-up on unpaid claims. Open claims can be filtered based on defined criteria.

There are as many different ways to view the scheduler as people that view it -daily or weekly, by provider or operatory. Some views are available by default; others are created by the administrator for each office. User views are structured by office and support the providers and operatories and are especially useful for providers who wish to have a paper version of the day’s schedule. Once created, the views will be available for selection under the User Views menu in the Scheduler. Many practices use these views for dentist-hygienist teams or specialists.

The Miscellaneous Setups window groups a number of setup tools together under a single option. Not all of these items will need to be changed from the defaults.
