Add or Edit a Cancellation Reason Code

You can add or edit cancellation reason codes of a practice.

  1. Select Setup > Misc Setups.
    The Misc. Setups window opens.
  2. Select Cancellation Reason Codes from Setup Types.
  3. Click Edit.
    The Cancellation Reason Codes window gives you options to edit or delete existing codes and also an option to add a new cancellation code.
  4. To add a new code, type a new reason code and description in the Add New section, and then click Add Cancellation Reason.
    The new cancellation reason is listed in the Cancellation Reason Code section.
  5. Click Save.
  6. To edit a cancellation reason code, select the code and click Edit.
    The code appears in the Edit Cancellation Reasons section.
  7. Make the changes and click Save in the same row.
  8. Click Save on the Misc. Setups window.
    Note: You must click Save after adding or editing a cancellation reason for saving the changes to the practice's database.
