Enter Conditions and Services

To enter a condition or service:

  1. Select the desired tooth by clicking any pocket.
  2. Click the desired service button.
    When charting a Pontic, it is not necessary to indicate the missing tooth. However, the missing tooth is not called out in the chart details section of the Tooth Chart.

    The service is immediately shown in the perio chart with the assigned draw type. Additionally, the Tooth Chart shows the service in graphical chart and in the chart details.
    Note: Services are always charted as existing.
  3. One condition that you can easily chart on the Periodontal Chart is missing third molars or wisdom teeth. You can chart all four missing teeth using a single button, the Hide 3rds button. To enter missing wisdom teeth in the Periodontal Chart, click this button.
    The four 3rd molars are immediately removed from the periodontal chart. Additionally, the Tooth Chart shows the missing teeth in the graphical chart. The chart details show the entry of missing teeth as a condition.
