About Enhanced Perio

Periodontal health is an important component to a patient’s overall oral health. Diseases like gingivitis can seriously impact the quality of the teeth, gums and mouth.

QSIDental Web has a comprehensive periodontal module to help chart and track the patient’s periodontal health.

Information about the teeth flows to and from the Tooth Chart module. Missing teeth—including those replaced with implants or bridges—entered in the Tooth Chart will properly display in the Periodontal module.Those same items can be entered in the Perio Chart and will display in the Tooth Chart, if set up to do so.

This module supports full charting of pocket depth, gingival margin, and other indicators in both numerical and graph formats. Additionally, track the improvement or deterioration in the patient’s condition by comparing the periodontal examination results over time. These comparisons allow a practice to provide consistent service and build a strong relationship with the patient.

Please note that the enhanced periodontal module must be enabled for a practice by the QSIDental support team.
