Creating an Enhanced Periodontal Chart

Data can be entered using voice recognition (if activated), the keyboard or the mouse. Though data is visible in other tabs, exam findings may only be entered in the Perio tab. Provider preferences established in setup streamline the entry process by establishing defaults for movement through the teeth, alert depths and printing options.

Each provider has his or her preferred way of moving through an exam. Whether beginning on the lingual or buccal area, working by range or by tooth, the auto-advance tool can be set to move through teeth and pockets exactly the way the provider wants. This order and flow can be selected for the exam using the Teeth Order and Exam Flow picklists on the bottom of the Perio tab, if not established as a provider preference.
