Bleeding and Suppuration
In the chart, the Bleeding button allows the entry of a color, typically red, to represent any pockets that are bleeding when perio probing is done. The Suppuration button uses another color, typically yellow, to represent pockets where infection (pus) is present. If both bleeding and suppuration are present, a new color, typically brown, will identify the entry.
To enter bleeding or suppuration, click the desired button for the pocket. If the button is clicked during the examination where the auto-advance feature is driving the pockets, the bleeding/suppuration entry will be placed on the pocket just probed. If bleeding/suppuration are added later by clicking the pocket directly, the entry will be made on the selected pocket.
