Notes and Documents Overview

Documents and images can be created and attached to a patient's record, where they can be readily accessed for future reference. The more information a practice has about a patient, the more effective it can be. Documents added to the patient's record might include the following:

• Completed patient health history and consent forms
• Referral documents
• Forms that are completed and signed online
• Insurance cards or forms
• Identification

QSIDental Web has two modules that can be used to store documents—one for clinical documents and one for other types of documents. Clinical documents are added to the patient record using the Documents module and are easily accessible via the chart. Additional non-clinical documents can be housed in the Patient Notes module.
