2.4.8.0 (Fall 2018) Release

The following is a summary of new features and enhancements in QSIDental Web 2.4.8.0:

Reporting

New Credited Hygiene Report

For customers interested in attributing hygiene production to a dentist, the Credited Hygiene Report option is created to support this ability. When this feature is enabled, hygiene charges will require the selection of a dentist for reporting purposes. The Credited Hygiene Report will then summarize which dentists the hygiene production can be attributed towards. For more information see Credited Hygiene Reporting.

User Experience

Increase usability of the Scheduler Daily View

This improvement provides the ability to drag and drop appointments in the scheduler daily view. This will improve the usability of QSIDental Web by allowing front desk and clinical staff to easily move appointments into a new operatory slot. For more information see Reschedule an Appointment by Dragging and Dropping.

Improve Patient Insurance Plan Details information

We made the following improvements to the Patient Insurance Plan Detail screen:

  • The screen features an improved design to increase usability.
  • You can now scan the front and back of a patient’s insurance card and view them while entering insurance data.
  • When adding insurance for a patient with no current coverage, the Account Plans popup will display any family members’ plans on the account for easier selection.
  • You can now search for an insurance plan from one search box by entering a carrier name, employer name, group number or insurance plan ID.
  • You can now add coverage information or cancel coverage for other family members from the Insurance Plan Detail screen.
  • After selecting the subscriber, you can now edit the subscriber’s details from the Insurance Plan Detail screen if that information differs from what is on file with the insurance company.
  • When adding a patient through online registration, the default insurance plan search will occur against the group number entered by the patient.
  • Once an insurance card has been scanned for an insurance coverage, it will also be visible from Patient Overview.
  • Scanned insurance cards will be stored in Patient Notes for historical reference.
