The following is a summary of the new features and enhancements in QSIDental Web 2.4.10.0:

User Experience

Effective and Cancel Dates

This feature enables you to manage a patient's insurance lifecycle. Now, users can enter start and cancel dates when adding a new insurance plan and be able to view the history of previous insurance records for a selected patient.

Enhancements to the Add/Edit Primary Dental Plan window
  • On the Add/Edit Primary Dental Plan window, users can now enter start and cancel dates in the Effective Date and Cancel Date fields respectively when adding a new insurance.
  • The user must enter the Effective Date only when adding a new insurance. If the date is not know, you can select Unknown.
  • The user must enter a cancel date to close an existing insurance coverage. Canceling an existing policy for a subscriber removes the coverage plan for all family members linked with the plan.
  • On the Patient Insurance Coverage Entry page, the user can view the insurance coverage on theAccount Plan grid in the descending date order if effective and cancel dates are present.

Appointment Search

  • You can select and schedule appointments for all the family members using this option at once.
  • The application provides you with a list of appointment options for the selected family members. You can either save a suitable appointment option or edit the option to meet your requirements.
  • You can schedule an appointment from the chart for an existing treatment planned group.

Browser Detection

When you attempt to log into QDW using a browser that is not supported, then you will get a notification alerting you that the browser is not supported. The notification also displays the supported browsers.

Single Sign On

You are prompted to enter your credentials when you first try to log in to Success Community. You do not have to enter the credentials henceforth to log in to Success Community.

Print Patient ID on Selected Reports

The users can now select either Patient ID or Patient Chart# to be printed on the Report Criteria for the following reports:

    • Appointment Confirmation Call List
    • Missed Appointment List
    • Daily Claims Printed by Carrier-Detail
    • Daily Collection by Provider-Detail
    • Daily Product by Provider-Detail
  • Appointment Reports
    • Appointment Confirmation Call List
    • Appointment Cancellation List
    • Missed Appointment List
