Link a Lab Case to an Appointment

After you have manually added a lab case to the Lab Case screen, you have the option to link it to an appointment.

Note: QSIDental Web also allows you to link a lab case to an appointment when you are adding or editing the appointment. See Create Appointments for more information.

To link a lab case to an appointment:

  1. From the Patient menu, select Lab Case Details.
    The Lab Case screen displays.
  2. From the list of lab cases, select the one you wish to link to an appointment.
    The selected lab case's details display in the Edit Lab Case section of the screen.
  3. Click Link Appt.
    The system displays a list of available appointments for the patient.
  4. Select the appropriate appointment by selecting the radio button next to it and then click Use.
    The Lab Case screen re-displays. The selected appointment's date now appears in the row for the selected lab case to indicate that they are linked.
