When the practice has subscribed to the Meaningful Use option in
QSIDental Web, the patient record will include additional fields that would not otherwise
display.
In the patient's demographics, these fields include:
Race
Language
Ethnicity
NextGen Portal Status
These fields are displayed on Patient Overview screen.
Adding MU Information for a New Patient
When the practice has subscribed to the Meaningful Use option in
QSIDental Web, these extra fields will be part of the normal patient creation process.
Complete the fields in the first screen as appropriate, remember that fields with a red
asterisk are required. Meaningful use requires more fields.
Adding MU Information for an Existing Patient
When the practice has subscribed to the Meaningful Use option in
QSIDental Web, these extra fields will be added into the patient record, but will not
initially have a value.
To add the information:
Click the Edit button on the Patient Overview
module in the Patient Information section.
Add information to the new fields. Please note that all Meaningful
Use fields (red asterisk) are required.
