Scan EOB Utility

Some carriers send paper Explanation of Benefit (EOB) statements. For a practice using QSIDental Web to handle billings and claims, these paper documents stand alone. Using the Scan EOB Utility, these paper EOBs can be scanned, viewed, and directly associated with the electronic payments.

Once the scanned EOB pages have been associated with the insurance payment, the scanned EOB with all of its details can be viewed from the Account Ledger or Patient Notes module.

The Scan EOB Utility can then be launched from the Utilities menu.
