Appointments at a Glance

On the Scheduler appointments are represented by blocks that provide relative information such as the following:

• Status of the appointment.
• Start and end times of the appointment
• Responsible party type, which is configurable by each practice to include payment types or major employers among others.
• Any medical allergies or alerts that apply to the patient
• Provider number and name.
• Procedures to be performed.

When you hover the pointer over an appointment, a popup displays additional information such as the patient's age and contact numbers, preferred provider, billing amount and estimated patient portion, appointment status history, and any appointments that other family members may have (if confirmation view is enabled).
