Secondary Provider
The secondary provider feature allows a second provider to be associated with treatments and billing.This is useful for offices that support residents or students.The administrator must enable the secondary provider feature and set up the usage standards in setup.
When the secondary provider is enabled, the Provider Selection window
will have an additional field for selecting a secondary provider in the same way the primary
provider is selected. The secondary provider may then be changed in the Tooth
Chart, Ledger and Transaction
Entry modules in the same way as the default provider.
Note: As part of the office setup, the practice may give the term secondary provider an
alternate name which will display instead.
