Post-Op Call Process (Patient Notes)

For practices that have not implemented the enhanced clinical chart tools, the post-op call process can be completed using the Patient Notes module to document the call, however these notes must be entered manually and cannot utilize the SmartNote tools. In this case, the process would be:

  1. Run the Post-Op Report.
  2. Call the patients on the report.
  3. In the Transaction Entry module and add the post-op call code. This will allow the code to be displayed in the ledger.
  4. In the Pt Notes module, enter the details from the conversation with the patient.
