In addition to appointments, the Scheduler may be set with a template of desired production types and blocked time during which the provider cannot be scheduled.
You can set up production times to serve as a template for creating appointments on the Scheduler. A production time indicates that the time slot should be used for scheduling a certain type of procedure, but it does not limit the time slot to only those procedures. It is meant to serve only as a guide. Production types and colors are established by an administrator during setup. See Add Production Time for instructions on adding production time.
Block time designates a period of time during which the provider is unavailable so that appointments cannot be scheduled. Adding block or non-production time is similar to setting the production types. See Add Block Time for instructions on adding block time.
