User Info (Add a User - Step 1 of 6)

Step 1 of adding a user involves adding the information shown in the following window shot. Fields with a red asterisk are required.

Following are descriptions of some of the fields on this window:

·                  User Name: The user name must be unique. It is used as an identifier for some activities such as non-clinical notes, work in patient records, and reports.

·                  Password: The password must be at least six characters long, and it must include at least one uppercase letter and one lowercase letter.

·                  Mnemonic: The mnemonic identifies the user's activities in the charting module.

·                  Time Clock fields: QSIDental Web features an internal time clock to track the worked hours for a team member and to get simple time and gross wages reports. It does not attempt to replace a payroll service, but instead is a tool to more easily track and report the hours to the payroll service.

Note: The Forgot Password? option on the login page will work for a user only if you enter an email address for the user in this step. See QSIDental Web Login for more information.
