View a History of Eligibility Checks
- On the Patient Overview window, click the eligibility icon (either Verified
or Needs verification 
) in the Dental Insurance section.
The Patient Eligibility window displays.
In the lower half of the window is a history of all past eligibility checks submitted via NextGen Healthcare's Electronic Data Interchange® (EDI) service. An insurance eligibility report details the response from the carrier.
- Use any of the following methods to locate a particular request:
- Click a column header to sort the list by that column in ascending order. Click again to sort in descending order. You may sort by Request Date/Time, Carrier Name, and Created By.
- Filter the list by clicking the filter icon
next to a column name and then entering the desired criteria. For example, when filtering by Request Date/Time, you will be prompted to enter a date range.
When you add a filter, it will appear in the Filters box at the top of the list. To remove a filter, click the x next to it, or click Clear Filters to remove all of them.
- Use the arrows at the bottom of the list to navigate multiple pages of history. Jump to a specific page in the history by entering the page number.
- When you have located a particular request of interest, you can view its eligibility report by clicking the link in the Report column. The report provides a Print button in case you need to print and attach the report to a claim.
