At times it might be necessary to move an existing patient record within the dental practice. This could be due to duplicate patients existing in the system, or a patient needing to be associated with a different or new responsible party. The Move Patient tool provides options to quickly move the record and associated services and ledger transactions. The Move Patient tool can be accessed via the Move Patient button on the Edit Patient Information window.
When you move a patient record, the patient will keep the original patient ID.
