Most completed treatments require additional information to be included in the chart in the form of notes. While notes could be added manually each time a completed treatment is added, QSIDental Web offers SmartNotes. A SmartNote is an interactive, pre-written note associated with a particular treatment that is completed with pre-defined multiple choices. Rather than composing the note over and over again, only the defined variables need to be selected to create consistent, comprehensive notes.
There are two parts to the SmartNote window. The left side lists the variable fields that must be completed and the predefined choices for each. The right side shows the note text as it is being created based on the field selections.
