Procedure to ICD Cros Coding

Procedures that may require a diagnosis code need to be mapped to the ICD Diagnosis Code. To associate the codes:

1. From the Setup menu, choose Procedure code to ICD Code Cross Coder from the Procedure Codes section.
2. Click the Edit button

   

3. Add the desired diagnosis codes.
4. Click the Save button when complete.
5. Click the checkboxes beside the diagnosis codes that should be associated with the procedure. Please note that only codes added to the practice’s ICD code list will appear as options.
