Unallocated payments are patient funds taken in by the office that have not yet been associated with any procedures. Though many payments are allocated by QSIDental Web automatically, there are some circumstances in which those payments will remain unallocated, including prepayments, refunds due to patients, insurance paying more than estimated, and posting payments to the incorrect patient.
Payments can be allocated using the Unallocated Pay/Adjs tab in the Transaction Entry module. See Allocate Patient Payments for instructions.
