The communication features can be used without much setup. However, you must ensure that the patient's email address and/or cell phone number is included in the profile.
If the information is not already in the patient's profile, click the Edit button to add the information.
Notes Macros
Communication is easier when the messages are pre-written and prepared for sending. Common or frequently used messages can be setup as a Notes Macros which can then be easily added to the communication.
