Edit Restrictions for an Insurance Plan

To edit a restriction:

1. From the Setup menu, choose Service Restrictions from the Insurance section.
2. Specify search criteria using the fields in the Search area. You may use any combination of the following fields to perform the search:
   • Insurance Plan – Begin typing the plan name. As you type, the system displays all plans that match the entered text. Select the desired plan from this list.
   • Procedure Codes – Type the code or click the button to the right of the field and then search for the code.
   • Service Restrictions – Select a rule from this list.

     

3. Click Search.
4. In the search results, locate the service restriction you wish to edit.
5. Click Edit in the row of the service restriction.

   

   The service restriction appears in the Update Restriction area at the bottom of the window.

6. Make changes to the service restriction as appropriate. Note that the Insurance Plan and Procedure Codes fields are read-only.
7. Click the Update button.
