Workflow

When a patient chooses to make payments over time, the payment plan contract must be established with the relevant details based on the amount of the balance and the amount of time the plan will take. Each period, the charges for the plan must be generated and billed to the patient until the balance of the contract is paid.

Payment plans may not be edited. Once in place, they are set with the specific financial details entered at the time the plan was created. If the patient’s financial needs change, the existing plan can be deleted and a new one entered in its place.
