Review and Update Preauthorizations

To review and update the information from a preauthorization claim:

1. Select Pre-authorization List from the Transactions menu. The preauthorization list is specific to the currently selected patient.

   

   All preauthorizations for the patient are displayed.

2. Click the blue hyperlinked date to open the specific details of a preauthorization claim.

   

3. Take any of the following actions:
   • Input the preauthorization document number.
   • Change the procedure coverage status (sent, covered, not covered).
   • Update insurance estimations.
   • Change the preauthorization claim status.

     

4. Click Save.
