Make an Operatory Inactive

You can remove an operatory from the Scheduler by making it inactive. After you mark an operatory as inactive, it will no longer appear in the daily view. This function is useful if the operatory is named after a provider who has left the office.

Note: If the operatory has appointments scheduled for a date that comes after the inactive date, you must first move or remove those appointments before setting the inactive date.

  1. From the Setup menu, select Offices.
  2. Select the desired office from the list on the left and click Edit Office.
  3. Click the Operatories tab.
  4. In the Inactive Date column, click the calendar and select the date on which the operatory will become inactive.
  5. Click Save.
